Meetings of the Board are held at 4:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month at DHMH on Patterson Avenue. All interested parties are welcome to attend the meeting. Please contact the Board office for meeting room and directions.
Board's Mission
The mission of the Board is to enhance the
quality of the hearing and speech
health care provided to the citizens of Maryland by
ensuring qualified and competent audiologists,
hearing aid dispensers and speech-language
pathologists.
Important Information
Continuing Education Deadline Change for SLPs
The Continuing Education (CE) deadline for speech-language pathologists for the 2012 renewal has been amended to be December 31, 2011 for the 2012 renewal. For more information please see the CEU Guidance for 2012 information under the Continuing Education section of the Professionals tab on the Board's website.
Board Meeting
The next Board meeting will be held on September 15, 2011 at 4201 Patterson Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21215 at 4:00pm in Room 110. The tentative agenda for the meeting will be published in September 2011.
