Reimbursement of License Fees - Senate Bill 600


 

SENATE BILL 600 (2006 Legislative Session)

Education- Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologist

-Licensing Fee Reimbursement  

Effective July 1, 2006 each audiologist and speech-language pathologist who provide services on a third-party billing basis in schools and are licensed by the  Maryland  Board of Examiners for Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers and Speech-Language Pathologists( the Board) shall receive reimbursement from the county board for the initial licensing fee or renewal of license fee charged by the Board.  

Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists who meet the requirement should contact the County Board of Education for more details. The Board of Examiners for Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers and Speech-Language Pathologists is not responsible for reimbursement of the license fee.
